Reed Screening, a division of the Reed Group, specialises in pre-employment screening. Despite being a trusted industry leader, its website failed to reflect its expertise or evolving business objectives. As part of a transition to a new CMS, Reed Screening needed a refined digital experience that improved user journeys, increased conversions, and optimised proposition and product pages. The challenge was ensuring that two distinct audiences—SME and Enterprise customers—could easily navigate, understand, and purchase the right solution for their organisation, reinforcing Reed Screening’s authority while making the buying process seamless and intuitive.

Discover & Define

Our process began with an expert review, evaluating the existing site’s structure, usability, and conversion barriers. A horizon scan followed, assessing competitors to identify content gaps, best practices, and inconsistencies in product terminology. Stakeholder workshops provided deeper insight into Reed Screening’s identity and strategic goals, revealing key gaps in the online experience. Customer interviews with SME and Enterprise businesses uncovered critical pain points and expectations. These findings informed a robust set of functional and non-functional requirements, shaping a strategy that aligned with user needs and Reed Screening’s business objectives.

Develop & Deliver

Navigation and information architecture were restructured for an intuitive experience, making product discovery seamless. The homepage was redesigned to highlight value propositions with clear calls to action for both enterprise clients and small businesses. Enhanced product pages provided multiple selection pathways, while a dedicated e-commerce hub streamlined online purchases. A solutions hub guided users based on business size, industry, and technology, reinforcing trust. Brand visuals were refreshed to convey precision and efficiency. Within the first week of launch, the improved proposition led to the successful onboarding of a large-scale enterprise client, marking one of Reed’s most successful digital initiatives.
